Intangible aka Gabriel é um melómano incurável desde que veio a este mundo. O facto de ter nascido nos Alpes e cedo se ter estabelecido no deserto interior português moldaria para sempre a sua sensibilidade para as artes e com maior ênfase na música.

Fundou bandas na adolescência, fez performance e teatro. DJ membro do colectivo Panorama e produtor das áreas chill out da produtora de eventos/label Quest4Goa.

Assina como Intangible para o selo Womb Label e colabora no projecto Nave e O/WL ambos na mesma label.

Já tocou em todo o lado e mais uns sítios que nem se recorda. Alguns: BOOM Festival, Sinergia, PSP sessions, Maré Alta, Porto Rio, Voice, Pacha, Day After, & Companhia, Espaço Covilhã, Serra de Sintra, Serra da Lousã, Looney Toons Festival, afters, festas privadas e outras de projecção nacional, e, claro está nos eventos Quest4Goa. Workshop de AFRO-CONTEMPORÂNEO lecionado por Boris, bailarino e coreógrafo cabo-verdiano, residente há vários anos em Portugal.

Neste workshop, propõe-se o cruzamento da linguagem da dança contemporânea com elementos da dança Afro. O encontro entre as duas será de grande riqueza, interpenetrando características de ambas - liberdade, fluidez, exploração, explosão - e descobrindo movimentos originais!!!

Após vários aclamados concertos, Simonal regressa ao 555 para mais uma incursão por sons tradicionais de Moçambique.

A workshop which explores basic movement principles using both an exterior (architechtonic/functional) perspective as well as a somatic/internal approach.

We will explore the relation to the floor, the possibility of falling, using spiraling to move through different levels, patterns of pushing/pulling/reaching…

Open to all levels, there will be room for improvisation while working with set mateial. Here, the idea will be that technique does not deal with a specific form, but rather with the infinite number of possibilities of moving and articulating your body in space.

The workshop will be given in English.

Bios:

Valentina Desideri first trained in ballet and contemporary dance and-worked in several companies in Italy. She then moved to London where she finished a BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre at Laban Centre. In 2004 she founded the collective La Tertulia Dance Project,in collaboration with another dancer and a visual artist. She was a DanceWEB scholarship holder in the Impulstanz festival 2006. She currently works as freelance dancer and choreographer in London.

Domenico Giustino trained in theater in the US and in Russia. He continued his studies in contemporary dance in New York and then completed his studies at P.A.R.T.S. school in Bruxelles, where he is currently based. He has co-founded the RabbitHoleCollective as well as collaborating with other choreographers.
